Over the last 14 years, we have been your hair go-to, your therapists, your haven, confidante, and friends. We’ve been here through the peaks and valleys of life and everything in between; birthdays, first dates, heartbreaks, new jobs, and weekend shenanigans.  We’ve watched the start of new families, and have been lucky enough to get to know many generations of the same families.  

Here at The Salon Of Chi , we are a tight-knit group also. Held together through our appreciation of quality craft and enjoyable service. But we are also mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters, sons and daughters. Some of us have been here since Day 1, and we consider each other the family of Chi.  

As social distancing continues to impact our abilities to deliver our business profession, we feel compelled to do our part, to reduce the health risk and promote wellness within our community.  The function of our work makes the recommended distancing impossible to achieve. Therefore, we announce that starting today, Monday 23rd March 2020, we will be closing the salon temporarily. 

We feel this is the right thing to do to support each other as a team, to support our guests responsibly and our wider community as a whole. We apologise for the last minute announcement and hope you will appreciate that this decision was not taken lightly, but was taken collectively and unanimously as a team. 

Unfortunately we are not able to offer home hairdressing visits as many have requested as this would also compound the risks involved in contracting or transmitting COVID19 in our opinion.

Our management team will be reaching out to re-schedule anyone who had a appointment booked during this temporary closure. We are determined to get back to doing what we love as soon as we are able and we remain as committed as ever to accommodating you in every way we can.  

Thank you for listening, for understanding and for your continued support. And a special THANK YOU to all those who offerred to pay for their missed service as a way of supporting us. You are amazingly kind and supportive people and our whole team salute the humanity on displayat this time
