Coronavirus Response
With coronavirus being a current health concern here is some guidance for visiting the hair salon
Being a public place of business there are some measures we can all take to protect ourselves and those around us.
1.KEEP INFORMED
Keep up-to-date with the latest advice from the NHS
Information on the situation is being updated on a very regular basis. The NHS and Govt web sites are good places to start. For the latest advice on how to avoid catching or spreading germs, go to the NHS coronavirus ‘overview’ page
2. Face Masks
With much debate about the controlling the spread of coronovirus the NHS has published a FAQ page
There is much discussion about the usefulness of facemasks and how to best protect yourself. See the NHS advice about this on the NHS Common Questions Page
3. Should you attend your appointment?
If you have questions about wether to isolate yourself
A hair salon is a very social environment were many people pass through on a daily basis. If you have visited any High risk area’s (please see gov uk for list) for Coronavirus in the last 14 days (even if you do not have any symptoms) Please do not come into the practice or attend for any appointment. Please contact us by phone only and we will do all we can to assist. Call NHS 111, stay indoors and avoid close contact with other people
4. Salon Response
We are changing a few things in response
Being a busy social and working space we see many people pass through each day. To reduce the risks we are taking some steps
- Visitors who have travelled to high risk areas are requested not to attend appointments
- Visitors and staff showing symtoms will be refered to NHS guidance
- Extra cleaning rituals and practices before, during and after each service
- We retain the right to refuse service
